From bathtub races to duck-catching contests, the Kelowna Regatta was once one of the biggest summer celebrations in the country. 🌊☀️

For over 80 years, the Regatta brought crowds to the waterfront for unforgettable events, wild traditions, and what was proudly called “Canada’s Greatest Water Show.” But after riots in the late 1980s, the beloved festival slowly faded away, with its final event taking place in 2006.

Now, the story of the Regatta is being brought back to life at the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Dive into the history, the nostalgia, the chaos, and the memories that shaped generations of Kelowna summers.
